Location & Parking

Lots of parking – 4 lots to be precise!

The Chateau Victoria is located on a street that changes names at various points, so please have our address 740 Burdett Ave locked into your GPS to help get you here with ease. We hope this graphic also helps with orientating you.

Some great points to note prior to your arrival:

  • Our parking lots offer the most economical overnight option amongst Victoria’s downtown hotel properties, even at full price ($20/ nt)
  • Parking is even cheaper (50% off) when you book with us directly
  • We have 4 lots to choose from, and if you can’t find an open stall, let us park your vehicle for you (we have some sneaky spots)
  • There are 6 designated E/V charging stations onsite (located in the lower lot), complimentary for registered guests only
  • Arriving by bus, or walk on ferry? We are located next to downtown’s main transit transfer station which makes it easy to get around on foot – click here to book a shuttle.

Environmental Initiatives

The Earth is our home. We live, work, and play here. How we care for it matters.

That is why at Chateau Victoria we are committed to reducing our environmental footprint. We are proud to hold a 4 Key Rating with The Hotel Association of Canada’s Green Key Eco-Rating Program and have recently accomplished Biosphere Sustainable designation. Over the past several years we have introduced many environmentally-friendly practices into our daily work life throughout the property including:

  • Filtered water fountains and filling stations to replace single use bottles
  • Nespresso coffee machines in every room, k-cups are recycled and coffee grounds are composted
  • Parking lots are equipped with six designated E/V charging stations
  • High-efficiency boilers
  • Housekeeping uses biodegradable products
  • Double-paned energy efficient windows
  • Dispensers for toiletries instead of single use plastic bottles
  • We donate many items and left over guest amenities to charitable organizations
  • To conserve energy and water, bed linen is not changed every day for stay over guests, and fresh towels provided on request
  • Low flow toilets
  • Low-energy lighting used throughout the hotel
  • Pool water is partially heated by recycling warm air from the pool area
  • We use clean-burning natural gas
  • All organic kitchen waste is recycled and composted by a local waste management company for local projects
  • Our menus focus on local, seasonal ingredients and we have our own herb garden
  • Vista 18 has window film to minimize heating and cooling loads
  • Vista 18 uses electronic “smart candles” on tables to eliminate the use of butane fuel cells
  • All metal, paper, plastic and glass products are recycled
  • Courtyard fountain water is recycled
  • Use of locally re-manufactured printer cartridges
  • We provide our guests with a bike-lock up room, walking maps and information on public transit
