The Earth is our home. We live, work, and play here. How we care for it matters. That is why at Chateau Victoria we are committed to reducing our environmental footprint. We are proud to hold a 4 Key Rating with The Hotel Association of Canada’s Green Key Eco-Rating Program. Over the past several years we have introduced many environmentally-friendly practices into our daily work life throughout the property.
Keeping garbage out of landfills is a big part of sustainable waste management. At Chateau Victoria our waste diversion rate – that is, the percent of waste that does not end up in a landfill – is 63%. We are continually striving to increase that percentage.
